OKLAHOMA CITY -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is considering a crackdown on farm dust, so senators have signed a letter addressing their concerns on the possible regulations.

Many in the Oklahoma farming industry are opposed to the EPA's consideration. One farmer said the possible regulations are ridiculous.

Roberts, a fourth generation farmer and rancher in Arcadia, said regulating dust in rural areas will hurt farmers' harvest, cultivation and livelihood.

"Anytime you work ground, you're going to have dust. I don't know how they'll regulate it," Roberts said. "The regulations are going to put us down and keep us from doing things we need to be doing because of the EPA."

Any thing the government touches turns to dirt, or worse. Whatever the government regulates becomes expensive and scarce: Healthcare, oil, food.

Dust is a pollutant, CO2 is a pollutant, Nitrogen (N2?) is a pollutant. The elites want to control all life on this planet. They want to tax us for being alive. This is pure evil. Part of the devil’s plan to eliminate life on earth.

The EPA continues to rule the country without our consent. I guess that they are saying growing food is detrimental to our health?

The EPA should just use some of that Magic Fufu Dust to make the Earth all warm and happy!

And most of the farmers still vote for Democrats, because of all the easy loans and free subsidies they get on a regular basis.

Not too many people I know feel all that sorry for their “dilemma” since it is mostly self induced.

No, no, no, it’s proper name is ‘coarse particulate matter’.
Whodathunk that farming would cause ‘dust’?

LOL....if people thought Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged was prophetic, wait until citizens start doing what people did "ala Henry Bowman, et. al" in John Ross' Unintended Consequences

Hint: Long time mechanic and gas station owner fined hundreds of thousands of dollars for a gallon oil spill. A petty, mean EPA official bankrupted him. "When the shooting started" (of federal agents), the small civil war expanded into shooting EPA and FAA bureaucrats.

.....time to feed the hogs IMHO.
