I am from Beaumont. And as it was told, John Winter Sr. and his wife were unsure of having more children after Johnny was born. The doctor told them the odds of an albino child are quite slim and the odds of two albino children would be beyond practical possibility.
Now we have Edgar.
Both Johnny and Edgar Winter are extremely talented musicians. I still think Johnny is one of the most underated guitarists. And Edgar is a phenom. Just saw him in Houston a fews months ago. Terifically entertaining.
Great information on the Winter brothers, I didn’t know any of it. I almost regret dragging Edgar Winter into this, but the resemblance to the Givenchy model struck me right away. I’m not familiar with too much of the music from Johnny or Edgar, but I do like Edgar’s song ‘Frankenstein’ from ‘They Only Come Out At Night.’ Edgar, as far as I know, never had any pretensions toward modeling, and he has made positive contributions to the culture. The Givenchy models on the other hand, I’m not seeing any positive contribution to the culture. Nice to know that Edgar Winter is still rocking, may he rock on for another 40 years.
