I really hate that quote, because none of those groups would have spoken out for an outsider even if the author of the quote had been first. I prefer mine because we all know exactly who the target is this time, and the incrementalism they are using to trap us is a brilliant strategy because the “cooler heads” are just sitting around telling us to remain calm while they wait for their turn in the shower. Then they’ll be ones crying “why is this happening?” when reality finally intrudes into their fantasy world.
