I’ve seen several Norm Dicks signs in our area with the “RM” duct-taped over, and the same done over the “S”.
If I lived next door to a neighbor with that sign, I would put up a counter-sign: “Vote for Democrats when you want a cure that is even worse than the disease.”

Security camera videos posted on youtube might get some scum identified and, given the evidence, successfully prosecuted.
Of course you have to install the system which costs $$$.
If they mean that the GOP has lost its way and needs to rediscover Ronald Reagan, then yeah, I can see how “diseased” fits. What should we call that disease? Whitman Syndrome? Giuliani’s Palsy? The Schwarzenegger Shingles?
Run a small, bare copper wire around the back side of the sign and electrify it. Then run your sprinklers at night so the grass is wet. The punks may still take your sign but they’re sure to get zapped in the process.
At the linked source, I notice the “journalists” are advertising on behalf of RepublicansAreADisease.com.

Google "game trail camera". The tricky part is securing the rig so it can't be stolen or smashed, but some are inexpensive and *will* get pix of the perpetrators.

I checked out the site at republicansareadisease.com, and it appears to be run by someone who believes that the government is run by the rich and corporations and giving the government MORE power will fix the problem.
There is no debate with that sort of stupidity.
