This is NOT good. Tiahrt is a friend to gun owners.

From the article:

[Turnout wise, Moran had a distinct advantage in the closed Republican primary in that his congressional district had some 35,000 more Republican registrants than the district represented by Tiahrt.]

Interesting, that Tiahrt came as close as he did.

Well, OK, we lost one.

But I hope Republicans don’t stay home election day and allow the Democrat to get in.

I hope Tiahrt and the tea party throws full support to Moran. He’s better than any Democrat.

Tiahrt was supported by Palin, right?

If so, this would be one of the few times (first time?) that the person she endorsed did not win.

FWIW? It’s important to you because Tiahrt was supported by Palin....If it doesn’t have anything negative connecting Palin, you don’t post it....

Before the Palin endorsement, Tiahart was down 25 points and still almost pulled it out losing by only 4 points.

Moran is more conservative than most Senators the Republicans have now.

Rated 0% by NARAL, indicating a pro-life voting record
Rated 100% by the NRLC, indicating a pro-life stance
Rated A by the NRA, indicating a pro-gun rights voting record
Rated 100% by the Christian Coalition: a pro-family voting record

http://www.ontheissues.org/House/Jerry_Moran.htm#Gun_Control

Has 96% rating from the ACU!!! Some people are never satisfied unless a candidate is with 100% of the time! Geesh!

(I voted for Tiahrt who had a 95 ACU rating.)

Kansas hasn’t sent a democrat senator to Washington in seventy years.

Moran had more money and was able to convince Kansans that he is
1. more conservative
2. just a nice guy.
He’s neither, but he’ll have to do.
He will be an invisible Senator...will probably, sort of, vote conservatively but will provide zero help to any other conservative or even any other Republican.
We won’t see him again until 2016.

And Joan Finney once also. Kansans must think electing a woman will be a different kind of democrat, only to find out they’re more like Pelosi.

Sebelious was a carpetbagger who married into a prominent republican name as cover.

By sending Sobilious to DC where she’s had Obamacare hung around her neck, she will never darken the door of another elected office.

I’ve never liked the Kansas Republican party and never registered as a Republican. I almost declared this year so I could vote in the primary. I kind of wish I did now.

It has been the Kansas Republican party and their shananagans that got Sebelious elected in the first place. And I’m not thrilled with Brownback for Gov either.
