You are absolutely correct. A month ago CNBC was all about euro going from 1.18 to parity with the dollar. All talk has stopped once euro reached 1.23. There is always mantra of the week. Today it's how well China is growing.

I was in China when this building fell over. My Chinese friend and I talked about it and he optimistically told me “notice how well built it is, none of the windows broke”. I still chuckle about that!
