Republican mayor of San Diego "thrilled" by Prop. 8 ruling

The Republican mayor of San Diego, who defied elements in his party by declaring in 2007 that he supports same-sex marriage, said he is "absolutely thrilled" by the court ruling striking down Proposition 8, the voter-approved measure that banned same-sex marriages.

"I think Judge Walker did a great job of listening to the arguments and making the right decision," said Mayor Jerry Sanders, just minutes before attending a celebratory rally at San Diego's Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transsexual Community Center.

Sanders said he would like San Diego County to resume issuing marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples but he understands the need to wait until litigation is complete, probably with a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The “Pink Mafia” should have been stopped when they first appeared in power as Hitler’s “Brown Shirts” but the “tolerance” of the intolerable has compromised societal judgement to the point where one homosexual activist judge posits that two men “doing that which is inconvenient” is the same as the sacred bond of the marriage and what was done on the sacred, “Marriage Bed” of your grandparents. The altered mind alters all. Gay Marriage=Unholy Matrimony

Is Sanders the one with a lesbian daughter? I thought I heard Dennis Prager talking about this guy a while back. He ran on a conservative values platform and said he changed his mind on gay marriage when his daughter “came out”.

You also could mention Proposition 187. Another so-called “liberal judge” voted that down as well. In essence, California, and possibly our own nation as well is now officially open to invasion by illegal immigrants, given the federal case against Arizona’s SB 1070. The rulings of liberal judges opened our nation to invasion by illegal immigrants. That is something worth being scared about as well. Judges rule against there being real incentives to being a citizen of this country.

“Is Sanders the one with a lesbian daughter?”

Yep. You can only imagine what kind of a role model he must have been for his daughter to end up hating men. Most likely, he was too busy grandstanding to be around during her formative years. Now he wants to cover up his own poor parenting by embracing this sick perversion. Rather than face the truth, Sanders wants to be comforted by evil.

So would that also apply to Dick Cheney?

Prager went on about how wrong it was that he supported the law for gay marriage (after running against it)instead of resigning his mayorship.

Look up the Craig Spence blackmail and male prostitution ring. It ensnared several people in the GHWB White House. The rot runs deep.

The Enemy’s to our constitutional law and self-determination come from both party’s.

Whether you support “Gay marriage” or not the way the court imposed its edict in defiance of the limits of our constitution(consent of the governed) and the will of our people is unacceptable for a free country.

Official State recognition of your “union” with anther person is not a “right” anymore then recognition of any of your other relationships is.

But for the sake of argument lets make the impossible assertion that you had a right to something provided by someone else specifically their recognition of your “marriage” relationship with someone else.

If that was the case then the people of California ceded that right to the State of Califorina in their ratification of the State’s Constitutional amendment.

There is no way this court ruling can have legitimacy as anything but a blatant attempt to rob the people of their right to govern themselves.
