Well, right now it’s fairly hellish here in Okieland. I’m ready for these 100+ degree days to be over!
I am not buying Maryland being that high up in the rankings. No offense to MD Freepers, but MD is a liberal mess. If you like traffic, a high cost of living, and high taxes, go to Maryland!

Being a Marylander all my life (well almost) I do not take offense at all. It is a liberals dream. However, there are certain parts of Maryland that aren’t that liberal like Garrett County and the eastern shore. Funny note: all of my friends are looking for places to relocate to (if they can find jobs) OR retire. I do not know a single person who plans to live out their entire lives here. Just a thought
(My son wants to go to Texas since he feels he is a “displaced Texan”, my husband likes Tennessee and my one daughter likes Colorado.
