"Look! UFOs are coming!" With that cry, citizens of Leshan City saw a peculiar sight in the sky around 10 p.m. on July 26, reported by Sichuan Online.
Three round illuminated discs shined in the sky, lasting for more than 10 minutes before disappearing.
Professor Wang Sichao, from Purple Mountain Observatory of Chinese Academy of Science, said the identity of those discs still can't be determined before comprehensive analysis.
Wang explained that formation of a mock sun could be influenced by many respects, including directions of ice crystals in sky, the number of ice crystals and the number of cirrus clouds. Those ice crystals are just like prisms that could cause sunshine to bend and form a circle around the sun. However, the situation was not adequate enough in Leshan to form this phenomenon, according to Wang.
He added that the identity of those illuminations could not be confirmed after analyzing other witness reports and pictures from different locations.
My Three Suns.....with apologies to Futurama.
Looks like the reflection from some lights inside the room reflected on window glass.
Someone may try to drink Prime Minister Wu?
Three suns is indeed rare when it is heavily overcast, LOL.
Musta been swamp gas.
Photoshop? If not this is going to make it to the Astronomy post of the day!
I think the Book of Revelations in the New Testament of the Christian Bible alludes to signs in heaven (skies) is one of the signs of the second coming. CA/US elites may celebrate sodomy victory in court but heaven also responds with signs that our G_d is not very pleased.
could be solar “ZITS”. The sun just had another eruption.
FOOD FIGHT!
PAWNED
... I love that, “rare three suns”.
Assuming that nobody would photoshop such a thing, I would have to say windshield reflections. The round shapes are due to a source image or images inside a cockpit being far out of focus.
From left to right, Robbie, Mike, and Chip.
This photo was obviously taken on Tatooine. These aren’t the droids you’re looking for...
“A hundred quatloos on the newcomers!”
terrible Photoshop job. Zoom in and there is a ton of artifacting going on. Oh, and I don’t think bad Photoshop is God’s judgement upon the earth...
“ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS EXCEPT EUROPA. ATTEMPT NO LANDINGS THERE.”
LOL! Norton flagged that webpage as unsafe. Shocker!
Usually with crude photoshopping you see rectilinear boundaries where images were pasted in, and I don’t see these here. Also, the disk images are slightly different in each case. Most noteworthy are the mottled halos on the left and topmost image.
These lead me to believe that this image is a single exposure that includes these disks as some kind of artifact. I suggested windshield reflections, but I’m far from adamant on that point. In fact the partial obscuration of the top image argues against that. Of course it could simply be a multiple exposure.
