What the hell is wrong with Maine? You would think people that live in that icebox would be among the most self-sufficient, independent souls in the US.

We really need to make sure we elminiate the Dem majority in the Senate come November. There is too much at stake. I don’t know about you, but I can’t take much more of this Dem controlled house/senate/White House....it is aging me to much too fast.

New England Republicans are paleo-Republicans, from the bad old days when the Democrats were the party of the benighted, segregated South and big city machine Bosses. The machine hangs on in a few places though it isn't what it used to be, but the biggest flip has been the South.
