While the Obama Administration's appointed EPA head was in town meeting with Dem Candidate for governor, and current Mayor of Milwaukee Tom Barrett to discuss the city's role as a water technology center, the Walker campaign took a timely and so far under-reported shot.

Milwaukee homes were filled with sewage a little over a week ago when the sewer system was overworked. Homes were razed and millions of gallons of untreated sewage were dumped into Lake Michigan.

In 2004, Barrett vowed in a campaign ad to address the problem of sewage dumping during his first 100 days in office if elected. To date, no plan or any other improvement has been announced and citizens of Milwaukee have been forced to deal with poisoned waters and beaches and sewage backed up into their homes.

Here's Barrett's 2004 vow: http://www.wispolitics.com/1006/SJF_Barrett_Lincoln60.mp3
