I saw that when it happened. Just wondered if she was working somewhere?

Hmmm. I wonder which bridge that is? Could be the bridge across Lake Ponchartrain in New Orleans, or possibly the bridge between Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian, in MS.

Ooh, I love this picture. GWB had his faults, but, I sure do miss him and would vote for him again in a heart beat!

Thanks! Of course, he had faults! He’s human...but they weren’t DANGEROUS. He loves America and the troops and our
values are his values.

Thank you for this marvelous thread, Kaslin. How much I miss our President who actually was Presidential. Notice how rarely we see any photos like this with Obamma? How I miss that engaging smile and manner, and especially President Bush’s decency. I love that bumper sticker—have one sitting right by our phone and another on my rear window. We appreciate your labor of love so much!

Your first Photo of the Month says SO much about President Bush, Kaslin! It's wonderful!

Thank you SO much for all the work you do to bring us these bittersweet memories of when we had a REAL President.......a REAL man in the Oval Office.

We may never see his like again......

Wow!!! That is one handsome guy in one handsome hat! If we had avatars here ! :), that would be mine. I’d make it a screen saver but it would probably be all distorted! I tried that with Sarah’s new book cover and it was pretty scary! Thank you, LUV W!

We went from a man of honor to a child without honor. W’s heart must be breaking to see the devastation caused by this !

It’s a favorite of mine, too!

You’re welcome to try to make a screensaver from it! :D

We also have the lame stream media to thank for bashing Bush day in and day out for 8 years. I hate them as much as I hate the zero in office.

Thank you, Kaslin! You are amazing! What a treat!

It is very hard to read that radio address and realize, once again, what a mess we are in and how things have changed.

Thanks for all your work in putting this terrific thread together! I so miss our president!

They always went to their ranch. My point is, he always worked on his vacation, or when he went to Camp David

Just look at this hug.........look at how strong the emotion is in both the Military Mom, AND the Commander in Chief....

Remarkable.

“Just look at this hug.........look at how strong the emotion is in both the Military Mom, AND the Commander in Chief....”

And that’s the biggest difference. Obama shows absolutely no emotion whatsoever, but then it’s impossible for any robot to show emotion. Manchurian Candidate comes to mind!

Thank you, LUV W. First I have to be sure I can access my current screensaver—the California Zephyr traveling thru the desert!
