The extreme cold front that hit Bolivia in mid-July caused water temperatures to dip below the minimum temperatures river life can tolerate.

Must be global warming.

Yes, global warming. It got so hot, the temperature came all the way around and now it’s coming up from absolute zero. It was rising so fast, no one noticed how cold it was for a while.
