Arnold make the PATENTLY FALSE Argument: all relationships should be treated with dignity and equal respect. Perhaps it could be nit-picking his arguments, but all relationships are NOT equal in dignity and not all need "respecting."
The media loves to bash the catholic church about the priest scandal, and there is no doubt that the church needs cleansing. The real story, however, is the one that the media completely ignores: the liberal U.S. criminal justice system turned a blind eye to the problem, and they are the only ones with the authority to lock the perpetrators up and throw away the keys. Why hasn't this been done? Because, like Arnold, they believe all relationships have "equal dignity" and deserve "respect." If I had a dime for every judge who slapped a pedaphile on the wrist because of political correctness, I'd be rich.
In addition the legal arguments handed down by the Judge in the gay marriage case should be truly alarming. His argument in his finding was basically this: I don't understand why gay marriage should be illegal, therefore it should be legal. Aristotle missed this logic in his famous book. A judge can now come to any conclusion he wants no matter what the laws say. I don't understand why Newtons Laws of motion are true, therefore they are false QED.
