Yes, it sounds fair on the face of it. But it isn’t. The point is that if you want a say in your government, you get your dead *ss down and vote. That’s the way it has been and mainly white voters have been voted into office.

So now the normal amount of voters go down but the unions get the buses out and tell their people who to vote for. Now 100 people vote for the one candidate and the candidate gets 600 votes. This swamps the other candidates who may split the field.

Otherwise, one vote or six, why would you bother to do it? Everyone gets one vote and that is how it should be.
