What If 60 Million Americans Signed a Petition to Repeal Obama Care?
Canada Free Press ^ | Thursday, August 5, 2010 | Ron Ewart

To give us any incentive at all to break the bundle, we must pick a “stick” that we can win and pounce on it with all the combined force of freedom lovers everywhere. We must break that “stick” once and for all. That first win will provide the incentive to take on the next “stick” and then the next and then the next.

In each community, each county, each state and finally all of America, we must find the “sticks” we can break that will give us a win, starting with one of the more simple “sticks”. Start with a restriction, a law, or an ordinance and work collectively to break (repeal) it. They (the government) won’t be expecting you to fight and we have found that government backs up when vehemently confronted. Staircase off of that “win” to the next restriction, law or ordinance and repeal it. The strategy here is that people will join winners but they will shy away from, or ignore losers. Once engaged, you will find that freedom is infectious.

Canada Free Press must be excerpted, but the whole article is worth reading.

We can beat them by breaking one "stick" at a time.

What if we just ignored Obamacare altogether?

60 million votes for the opposition, at the federal, state, and local levels, will have more impact.

Petitions make you feel good but rarely effect change. They are a form of political polling.

Votes will stop this, votes. And keeping the vote counters honest.

It wouldn’t matter. A single homosexual judge in California would probably just overturn the will of the people.

“What if...”

I would assume:
1 — the Judicial would ‘rule’ that it’s “not legally binding.”
2 — the Legislature would be totally ineffective by ignoring and/or ridiculing the citizens wanting to repeal their ‘monumental’ health-care reform.
3 — the Executive would collect the 60-million signatures and start the DOJ prosecutions for ‘sedition.’

The more effective method to thinking outside the box is by having 60 million people defend the Constitution by openly defying unconstitutional Obamacare via civil disobedience Martin Luther King Jr. style.

Petitions are nothing.

Continuing to ridicule and point out the dangers posed by Obamacare will help to turn public opinion more and more against it, which in turn will influence more and more politicians to defund and repeal it. That’s how politics works....when the politician fears he will lose his cushy powerful job.

It would be set aside.

Just as were: Prop 187 in CA, Prop 200 in AZ, Prop 8 in CA and soon Prop C in Missouri.

If voting could chnage anything, it would be made illegal.

I hope so. November is not coming fast enough.

>If voting could chnage anything, it would be made illegal.

Why do you think that guns are de facto illegal/restricted/regulated? Why do you think the government has multiplied the number of felonious crimes and ways breaking ADMINISTRATIVE rules/regulations can be “a felony?”

"What If 60 Million Americans Signed a Petition to Repeal Obama Care?"

They would probably try to tell us that they only had 60 million more people to educate.
