The Huffington Post has a photo-illustrated article about the visit today by Michelle Antoinette Obama to Ronda, Spain, headlined: Michelle Obama Does Midday Shoe Change in Ronda (PHOTOS).
The photos used for the Huffington Post article can't be used at FR as they are from Getty Images, however, other wire photos (with less detail) are available for posting.
In the meantime, here are the lyrics to Michelle Obama's theme song, Pearls, by Sade:
there is a woman in somalia
scraping for pearls on the roadside
there`s a force stronger than nature
keeps her will alive
this is how she`s dying
she`s dying to survive
don`t know what she`s made of
i would like to be that brave
she cries to the heaven above
there is a stone in my heart
she lives a life she didn`t choose
and it hurts like brand-new shoes
hurts like brand-new shoes
there is a woman in somalia
the sun gives her no mercy
the same sky we lay under
burns her to the bone
long as afternoon shadows
it`s gonna take her to get home
each grain carefully wrapped up
pearls for her little girl
hallelujah
hallelujah
she cries to the heaven above
there is a stone in my heart
she lives in a world she didn`t choose
and it hurts like brand-new shoes
hurts like brand-new shoes

How weird.
I know it. Unless she has vitiligo, but I haven’t heard that. So what is causing that in the photo?
Moorish King Hosts Boorish Queen
The human costumes the Obamas wear aren't waterproof.
Gag! How many Secret Service agents passed out when she took off the shoes she’s been wearing for four days???
Pauly— I love it!
Michelle better take a look at her own daughter and worry about the luches being served at the private school she attends.
Vitiligo?
From the looks of her large behind, the First Lady is eating well and often.
It’s good to be queen.
It’s that reptilian thing Zero was talking about with the girls on that TV gossip show.
Is her young daughter also sporting $500 tennis shoes?
Must be the new look as her daughter seems to be wearing like tops.
Can’t we see what a spendid example our wonderful FLOTUS set for all of us when she planted and toiled so diligently in the WH garden, while still managing to maintain her role as fashion icon in designer footwear and clothing?
No doubt the WH pantry and freezer are stocked to the limit with the fruits of her labors in putting by food for the winter. All that and she still makes time to fit in a trip abroad representing the American people in her role as FLOTUS before the King and Queen of Spain.
All indications, from pictures of the trip, are that she is bravely and graciously holding her head high and maintaining her smile, at least in public, despite the slings and arrows of criticism from her detractors for the expense of taking along her little daughter and a few friends to help her relax and enjoy herself. Nevermind that she is paying for most of it out of her very own pocket.
(*cough* *choke*, excuse me.)
A woman simply must have a vacation, or four, per month when she works that hard, dear people. No wonder she had to change shoes to help rest her weary feet. Of course it’s news! The woman is a saint...she just presses forward in her never ending duties with just a change of yet more designer shoes, never complaining. It isn’t easy living up to the position of First Mate to “The One We’ve All Been Waiting For”. Surely even the bitterest of clingers can understand that. ; )
Amen sister!
I think the ugly shirt is the real story here, not the shoes. Wow, who told her that top was the right thing to wear should be outed and fired!
