HOLLIS – The founder of a center devoted to state’s rights will speak at a campaign stop for gubernatorial candidate Jack Kimball at Lawrence Barn on Saturday night.

Michael Boldin, founder of the Tenth Amendment Center, will appear via video from Los Angeles to be interviewed and will take questions from the crowd, according to spokesman Christopher Heneghan.

The event will be held at the Lawrence Barn on Depot Road from 6:30-9 p.m., and will include refreshments and music, Heneghan said.

“Everyone who knows me understands that I am passionate about upholding the entire Constitution,” Kimball said. “But it has never been more important for states to stand their ground and face up to the gradual erosion of our state sovereignty by the federal government.” Boldin has spoken at a number of events, including several Tea Party rallies, Heneghan said.

More states' rights politicians are what we need. New Hampshire has the lead in the fight to reclaim the constitution.

States Rights: Code words for segregation.

It sucks but that is the prevailing view, peddled by the left and bought into by, well, pretty much everybody with a platform. We need a “great communicator” to reintroduce the concept. Unfortunately it can't be Alan Keyes. Mr Keyes was weighed, measured and found wanting.

What about Ron Paul? He is a great communicator with a grassroots following.

No disrepect to Ron Paul, but he is no Ronald Reagan. He makes people uncomfortable. Not sure why. Maybe just demonized into irrelevance. Not sure. But, he won’t be able to get the job done.

I would take on the roll but once people figured out i’m out to destroy the Federal government and return it to it’s constitutional roll, I would not be taken seriously. If given power I would defund the beast and send home 300k federal workers. Federal services few and far between, no mandantes to the States, and strings attatched becasue guess what, no Federal Money to the States.

Yeah my kind of candidate is a Nihilist. We need to find an optimist who can sell what needs to be done with cheerfull goodness.
