I think he may lose the minorities simply because he doesn’t have a clue about the economy. He’s thinking of cultivating the crowd that wants government handouts, but there are many others who actually want to work and get ahead, and a functioning economy is necessary for that.
He’s down with Hispanics, too. An interesting fact is that 40% of the small businesses in this country are owned by Hispanics. If that figure sounds high, remember that these can be very, very tiny businesses, not only the corner bodega but a service provider such as two guys with a lawnmower and weed whacker. People don’t buy these services when the economy is down, and, in addition, these very tiny businesses are not up to all the reporting and regulatory requirements that are suddenly being imposed on them, not to mention the taxes. So he’s dropped a lot among Hispanics.
I think he’ll continue to go down among blacks, too, no matter how hard he tries to wave the race flag and keep them faithful to him.
Yeah, just like what happened in Detroit! Where after years of failed economic policies, African-Americans finally rose up and voted in all Republicans...
Oh wait
Sorry, but it's wishful thinking on your part, black unemployment could skyrocket to 75% and they would still vote for him (or any other Democrat) by 90%+ margins.
