Actually it’s probably due to the rapid rise of the rates for murder and kidnapping; one of the things that helped push the immigration bill to pass... and it will be interesting to see how the bill impacts those rates.

There is quite a slant in some of these listings. Yes there is, because Scottsdale, Arizona is one of the best places in America for normal, sane, American citizens to live. I don't think Phoenix or even Las Vegas belong on this list, which should really be filled with Detroit, East St. Louis, Camden, NJ, Gary, Indiana, and other liberal social policy-spawned vacation paradises.
