To: Truth is a Weapon; Tax-chick

I’d sure pick OKC over most of the others on that list to live in. (No offense, I’d rather not live there, I like the Southeast, but OKC seems like a good town from everything I’ve read elsewhere.)

I wonder why it supposedly has such a problem with obesity. Lots of good food? Too hot/cold to exercise?

That, and a carry-in-supper culture (buffets, too!) like many places in the South.

We lived near OKC for a little over three years, and then moved to Tulsa. It's an agreeable enough place, aside from the weather, with nice people.

High Native American Population percentage. Native Americans are more likely to become obese on a "European" diet.

It's Science.

Nothing OKC can do about it.
