We have one of the shortest Constitutions ever used to organize the government of the people. Is it any wonder that it is also the longest lasting?

Kenya’s is 117 pages and it took 50 pages to get around to the rights of the individual. At a glance it looks good for the individual until you start looking at all the exceptions.

Freedom from imprisonment....unless you’re suspected of “subversive acts or speech”.

Freedom from unlawful search....unless you’re suspected of doing something offensive to the moral sensibilities of the public.

Lots of stuff like that.
