The Vatican IS NOT a single, Bishop from Los Angeles!

Are you interested in honest debate, or just out to push your own personal Anti-Catholic venom?

It’s not just one bishop. The official policy, not just of the Catholic Church but that of most Christian sects, seems to be that Western nations have an obligation toward all less fortunate people. The “thinking” is that we must follow Christ’s compassionate example: Feed the hungry, heal the sick, clothe the naked. They never remember that Jesus never said we must steal from those that have and give it to those who don’t. Of course He also said that it was harder for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. So maybe the socialist Christian do-gooders have the rich man’s best interests at heart—By stealing their money and giving it to the poor, they’re just trying to help the rich get into heaven.

The venom came from you - curb your tongue. And as for "honest debate," where is your honesty in labelling the president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops a "single, Bishop from Los Angeles?"

You slap rudely and misrepresent the status and seriousness of what is going on, and then claim some sort of moral high ground? And through implication, you split the Vatican away from all of it with zero authority. You are way out of line here.

IN FACT, millions of people, Catholic and non-Catholic, are awaiting a Vatician statement on the position this president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops has taken.

Also IN FACT, the Vatican is EXACTLY where the focus should be in this matter.

Arguing for a Protestant-style independence of interpretation is repulsively hypocritical.
