I’m announcing tonight, that I am planning to build and open the first gay bar that caters not only to the west, but also Islamic gay men. To best express my sincere desire for dialogue, the bar will be situated next to the mosque Park51, in an available commercial space.
This is not a joke. I’ve already spoken to a number of investors, who have pledged their support in this bipartisan bid for understanding and tolerance.

There are already bars (probably even some gay ones), strip clubs, sex toy shops, places that serve pork, liquor stores, etc, all not too far from this proposed mosque. I believe that the place right next door to this proposed mosque is a bar that serves food (including bacon, at the very least).
What you’re all forgetting is that this is New York City. The Muslims who live here aren’t fazed by any of this stuff.
How about adding a Moslem-only, drive-thru Pork B-B-Q shack.
