A new poll finds that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s approval rating has dipped below 50 percent for the first time in five years.

The Marist College survey was released Tuesday.

It found that 49 percent of registered New York City voters think the billionaire mayor is doing either an excellent or good job.

The poll said 33 percent rate him as doing a fair job, 16 percent said poor and 2 percent weren’t sure.

The last time Marist asked this question, in April, 56 percent of voters rated him excellent or good.

” ... New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s approval rating has dipped below 50 percent ... “

Why is his approval rating still in the double digit range? NYC has a lot of dummies in residence I guess.

The intelligence and standards of the New York city voter is of such a low state that they are a consistent threat to anyone who shares an elected government with them.

I’d like to see New York kicked out of the union, or at least the nature of the union changed in such a way in which States like New York no longer weld as much destructive power over the rest of us thou the common government.

Did you know this mayor has 460 people on his private staff...lol

No doubt each one is making $135,000 plus.

"My father, who recognized the evil in Nazism early on, never forgave his sister Lotte, who refused to acknowledge the facts and who (as reported by her neighbors) waited docilely to be rounded up for shipment to the Auschwitz gas chambers. All his life, in sadness mixed with anger, he spoke of the millions who refused to see until it was too late."

"Bloomberg and the other supporters of this mosque are spiritual heirs of Lotte and those millions of victims, seemingly ready to accept their fate"-- Peter Gadiel, whose 23-year-old son, James, was killed on the 103rd floor of the World Trade Center on 9/11, is president of 9/11 Families for a Secure America

I agree with your diagnosis, and only wish I could suggest a remedy.

Every time I think Mikey is done, he does something dramatic that makes the bourgeoisie (the people who “matter” happy), or buys off enough of the unwashed. I so hope that Term3 is the end, although then I will likely have Mayor Weiner (and first lady Huma!) to put up with.

a liberal in RINO’s clothing!

He shed the R label a long time ago. He was always clear that it was just about ballot access in his first Mayoral run. He's a flaming leftist, a fool, and proof positive that money won't make trash not trash.

Bloomie is bored with his job in NY. He has his head up Obama’s a**. Just think - Democrats lose big in November, a shakeup in Obama’s staff as a result (particularly on the economic front), numerous complaints that Obama doesn’t have a single businessman in his cabinet...so who should be a prime candidate, in the running for an appointment? Why Mayor Bloomberg, of course.

And what better way to ingratiate himself with The One than to come out full force in support of the “bridge building” and “outreach” program?

I visited New Jersey last week in a sense honoring Chris Christie.

I stopped at the water’s edge (Liberty State Park) to gaze across the water at Bloombergia and left it at that.

it’s not an easy problem to solve, but i know one thing the solution is in education. Let the pen be our weapon and let the light of truth shine thou out the land so that the people understand the nature of our problems.

Believe me even if we can’t come up with a solution there are minds out there that can if only they can be made aware of the problem for their consideration.

Hope this 'numbers drop' is sliding down the irretrievable slippery slope.

Many happy 'no returns' Mayor; and may the door hit your backside as you exit, 'next' Election.

“Enjoy the 13 story Ammo dump coming to your city”

Exactly.

Blow up the WTC.
Build A Mosque next to the site.
Rebuild the WTC.
Blow up the Mosque, bringing down the new WTC.

What fun. :0/

I never liked him at all. He is a worthless POS. You don’t have to have any brains to have lots of money and he is the best example of that.
