It was kind of low class. Respect the office of the President if not the man holding it.
One of the unwritten Boy Scout tenants is knowing the difference between sh*t and shinola...
I didn't know the President decided to go speak to the Boy Scouts. He decided to show up and they boo'd? How rude!

I’m in the minority here, but I do think that it is important for Scouts to show respect for American tradition and the office of the Presidency, even if they don’t like or agree with the occupant. I think it is not in keeping with the Scouts’ values or code of conduct to boo the President, regardless of who he may be. (Indeed, I think the major reason Obama is who he is was that he never learned these things as a boy).
I did not vote for Obama, I don’t agree with him on anything, but I would not be openly rude to him should I happen to meet him. The Scouts stand for better than this.
