For a time, it seemed that Sarah Palin was on a hot streak.
Her Republican primary endorsements were generally winners as she racked up favors, praise and credit for the results in across the country.
There's still no doubt that a Palin endorsement raises a candidate's profile, significantly. But now, after a string of defeats for Palin endorsees, the question has to be asked: Was Palins brand really so strong that she was swinging primaries in her favor?
I have said pretty consistently that these endorsements are fairly meaningless, said Republican strategist John Feehery. They were meaningless when Palin was on a hot streak, and they are meaningless when she is on her losing streak.

I hope JD beats Juan McShame’s arse. McCain sickens me.
That is one Kiss of Death I hope comes to fruition!!
Your constant posting of negative articles of Sarah Palin is the same thing.
I think you have it bad for her.
I have no idea why you devote this much time to Palin. Her endorsements have massively raised the profile and polling numbers throughout this primary season. She is extremely influential in helping bring this party back to its core values. If you feel others are a better candidate for 2012, fine. Ignoring Palin’s positive influence on conservatism is silly.
pissant = Keith Halloran
She still has more winners in her column than Zero........................
You want Sarah Palin to go away but you keep posting articles about her. Odd behavior.
Ah Politico spewing their lefty talking points again. How many of their writers were on the “Journolist”? I forgot.
Count me in as an ardent fellow traveler on that count.
Endorses rinos..check
Endorses liberturdian kooks..check
Proclaims smoking dope is ‘no big deal’.. check
I'm sure I left some stuff out, but I stopped supporting Palin after those three...
Once they came out in the open with their conniving, and scheming, and organizing around a "partyline" we really have no more interest in what they are saying.
We know why they are saying it, and we know what they are. Their opinions cannot command respect.
Why don’t you and Chet99 get together and get a room? You can make love to Pitt Bulls named Sarah.

Handel almost took it from Deal, she would not have
been even close without Palin’s endorsement.
Palin/Bachmann 2012
This is true of all endorsements. I wouldn't vote for a candidate just because Sarah endorsed him/her, although I might take a look at someone I didn't know if she endorsed him/her, just to see where they stood. But my decisions are going to be made on my opinion of the candidates, not on who endorses whom. Sarah's endorsement did not sink Karen Handel, and Huckabee's endorsement didn't win it for Deal. In that case, Deal turned out to be the more conservative candidate, and that (barely) won it for him.
Substitute Bachmann for Palin, then we can talk.
This IS the Talking Point of the Day. The same EXACT spin was just spun on the ABC Radio top-of-the-hour news.
JournOlist appears to be alive and well, wherever it's hiding at the moment.
Pissant, you're too smart to fall for this lefty propaganda.
Still Dirtyharry, you can’t beat ordering wolves shot from helicopters~!
I’m praying her losing streak runs right through Arizona. How ‘bout you?
The problem is, he WANTS to fall for it.
