Coulter to Keynote for Homosexualist GOPride

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 11, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- GOProud, which bills itself as the "only national organization representing gay conservatives," has announced that well-known conservative author Ann Coulter is headlining their first annual "Homocon."

The announcement shocked both advocates of traditional family values and homosexualist advocates of "gay rights," who have previously attacked Coulter for her supposedly homophobic language and beliefs.

Christopher Barron, Chairman of the Board of GOProud, said he could think of no "conservative more fun to headline our inaugural party then the self-professed ‘right-wing Judy Garland’--Ann Coulter." Judy Garland is an icon among homosexuals.

“The gay left has done their best to take all the fun out of politics, with their endless list of boycotts and protests," said Barron. "Homocon is going to be our annual effort to counter the ‘no fun police’ on the left."

The GOProud "party" will be taking place Saturday, September 25, in New York City. Sponsorships of the event, which include two tickets, are available for $2500, while general admission tickets go on sale August 20th for $250.

Peter La Barbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) said that Coulter should reconsider her appearance at the event. "As a fan of Ann Coulter, it pains me to see her cave in to political correctness and lend credibility to the phony homosexual "conservatives" over at GOProud," he stated.

He said that half of GOProud's top 10 federal priorities center on advancing homosexuality. The federal legislative priorities that GOProud endorses include repealing the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" ban on homosexuals serving in the military, "defending" the Constitution by "opposing any anti-gay federal marriage amendment," and changing the tax code in a way that "will provide equity for gays and lesbians."

Agreed.

While I’m not a fan by any stretch, pretty undeniable that the sharpness of her tongue is matched by the sharpness of her wits.

It’s not outlandish at all, it’s not only in the wings but has been promoted by many in academia and the psychology profession for years. And of course homosexuals and NAMBLA people. Homosexuals have been known as pederasts throughout history, although currently they like to keep this not in the public notice of course.

In fact, advocating euthanasia for the “feeble minded” or “criminal class” has certain undeniable overtones, or would it be undertones?

Both. Morality is losing the battle with hate and control.

However, they really aren’t just being ‘private’ are they? No, it is an ‘identifier’ for them. If the GOP embraces this group to be ‘inclusive’ it really will be a death knell. Maybe next, they can ‘include’ pro-aborts too, or maybe some of the pro-open border crowd too.

“Lying to your mother is a sin, not a crime”

It becomes a crime when you want to make “people who lie to their mothers” as a category for civil rights victims.

Does it compound the sin when you carry picket signs that say “stay off my lips”?

How about in kindergarten we start teaching children how to lie to their mothers about the bananas they stole.

How about making it a crime for mothers to punish their children for lies?

I wonder if she will take the time to chime in on this thread.

Yes she is a FR member.

Has Ann sold out her principles to the almighty dollar?

Didn’t some guy many years ago go into places where there were tax-collectors, prostitutes, and other assorted sinners for a dinner party? You do remember him, do you? His friends warned him about all the same things that some people (on here)are warning Ann about now! Did he listen? I don’t think so. However, he won a number of followers from among them; along with many changed lives!

Then there was that lady who broke into a house where this guy was, cry and pour her best perfume all over his feet! Did he chase her away and say “Eww, get away from me lady, I know who you are?

Who knows if Ann might be a good example to these people? Some people nearly had a fit when Rush had Elton John at his wedding festivities playing the piano! That doesn’t mean that Ann or Rush suddenly turned gay, just because they associate in a social setting with known homosexuals! Who knows if maybe Ann and Rush are some of those who God chooses to reach people in ways others can’t?

She’s not Jesus and she’s going there because she’ll get paid to do so. Witnessing has nothing to do with it.

And the sad fact is, for every 1 "out and proud" homosexual who comes into the GOP, 10 social conservatives will leave.

Imho, it can only have a negative affect.

Thankfully, Obama has created the department of Homeland spelling police, yet. I'm sure you're waiting with baited breath.

If we're going to be precise, the correct quote/expression is "waiting with bated breath".

Actually, there is a homosexual gun rights group that exists. Have you ever heard of “Pink Pistols”? They are a gay/lesbian group that is all for gun rights for, of course, gay people. But I believe that they are for gun rights for people in general! I read an article about them once; and some of them claim that conservative gun rights people are more supportive of them than most liberal groups are!
