Romanian President Traian Basescu said that in the case of a conflict with Iran, his country will stand alongside NATO and Israel.
"We hope the sanctions imposed on Tehran by the UN Security Council will lead to the proper solution not one of digging graves for American soldiers, but one of negotiations and transparency," said Basescu.

...his country will stand alongside NATO and Israel. Too bad. They will quickly get overrun by Obama's combined US/Iranian military...
...that's the sad truth.
Although I truly believe if Obama DID try something that catastrophically stupid (based on his track record, this is quite likely), he would face a military coup in this country.
And I would proudly don my uniform (after dusting and alterations...time and gravity are cruel) and join them.
Obama is a disgrace.

No end of dissonance.
NATO won’t stand with Israel.
NATO is composed of Islamic Iranian ally Turkey plus various appeasing Europeans and one Barak Husein Obama.

I stand with Romania and Israel if this conflict occurs. Will I stand with the United States? Dunno.. depends on the direction the regime takes.

Romanian President Traian Basescu deserves overwhelming admiration, respect for the
testicular fortitude he demonstrates with his show of support for Israel, made more impressive in light of Romania's WWII history in alliance with the Axis and participation in in its own genocidal campaign against the Jews
Wikipedia:Romania during World War II
Of all the allies of Nazi Germany, Romania bears responsibility for the deaths of more Jews than any country other than Germany itself. The murders committed in Iasi, Odessa, Bogdanovka, Domanovka, and Peciora, for example, were among the most hideous murders committed against Jews anywhere during the Holocaust. Romania committed genocide against the Jews. The survival of Jews in some parts of the country does not alter this reality.
