This is just another aspect of political correctness gone crazy. What is the difference if I say “nigger” or “n-word” if my meaning is to degrade or (dare I say it?) to denigrate? It’s the intent, not the word, that is hurtful. And not to defend them, but the rappers and street vermin who use it all the time know that perfectly well, which is why they use it with impunity.

One day maybe our society will wise up and realize there are more important things to concern ourselves with than “being offended” by words. Sticks and stones, remember?
