Chris Dodd bows to global governance (Agenda 21)

Chris Dodd bows to global governance .

There is nothing ambiguous or uncertain about this statement: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. (10th Amendment) Where in the Constitution does Sen. Christopher Dodd find any authority to even propose his "Livable Communities Act"?

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1, authorizes Congress "to lay and collect taxes for the common defense and general welfare" of the United States. The next 17 paragraphs define the specific area of activity the founders considered to encompass the "general welfare." To ensure there was no misinterpretation or misunderstanding of their intention to limit the power of the federal government, the founders included the 10th Amendment in the Bill of Rights. There is no constitutional authority for the federal government to be involved in how state and local communities organize themselves.

Global governance, however, says: All countries should establish as a matter of urgency a national policy on human settlements, embodying the distribution of population, and related economic and social activities, over the national territory. Jerome Corsi's blockbuster reveals globalists' plan to put U.S. on the chopping block -- "America for Sale: Fighting the New World Order, Surviving a Global Depression, and Preserving USA Sovereignty" Agenda 21, Chapter 10 declares: Expanding human requirements and economic activities are placing ever increasing pressures on land resources, creating competition and conflicts and resulting in suboptimal use of both land and land resources.

But social engineering is at the heart of the Livable Communities Act, where federal planners hope to reduce personal mobility as measured in vehicle miles traveled and shift housing patterns from single-family homes in the suburbs to small apartments in cramped central cities.

In a country as large and diverse as ours, some people will prefer the live-work-travel arrangements prescribed for in the Livable Communities Act, which is based on the Smart Growth planning doctrine. However, the vast majority of Americans in red and blue states alike have long aspired to live in suburban homes with a car in the garage.

This quintessentially middle-class version of the American Dream has long been derided by elites and environmentalists, who recast suburbs as a wasteful sprawl and liken automobile use to a destructive addiction. They want to delegitimize this land use pattern, restrict automobile use, and make suburban housing less affordable. The Livable Communities Act is thus a hammer in the progressive toolbox.

Absent from their advocacy is any acknowledgment that cars and suburbia are not just expressions of freedom, but indispensable contributors to our prosperity.

Dodd is a criminal slime who is guilty of treason. Dodd should be arrested, tried and executed ASAP. If I where President some things would be very different.

I believe the originator of Agenda 21 was Maurice Strong who spoke of “sustainable” populations.

Its why we “need” to tax drivers off the roads to pay for trains.

Chris Dodd is a chip off the old block: His daddy used the Nazi gun control laws as a model for GCA 1968. See www.jpfo.org or google "dodd" and "GCA68" for details.

Chris Dodd and his daddy are just two totalitarian peas in a pod...

If ever a U.S. Senator belonged in prison, it's Dodd, with Barney Frank as his cell mate.
