She and I have been friends since our now adult sons were in preschool together. I am godmother to her children.
I tried to warn her who and what Obama was before the election. She had just lost her husband and I put most of the blame on stress and grief. Her marriage was not a happy one and she hated McCain because she thought he was arrogant a term she often used for her husband before he passed way.
At least she has now opened her eyes and I intend that they stay open.
I pray your friend will find some peace, and that it's not too late for all of us to learn a hard lesson and do what's needed to recover from this assault to our nation.
