The recent Gallup poll shows a 7 point GOP advantage on the generic congressional ballot.
But then read the fine print.
That is among REGISTERED voters.
The real GOP advantage as of today? Probably 12 points or so.
Which points to, probably, a 100 seat swing.
I’m not sure what could change this for the D’s, but if the election were next week, they would get slapped worse than 94. Too bad the Senate is more of a reach than it was in 94 or I’d say GOP would take Senate easy.
BUT...all that said...on Nov. 2, when the Dems lose the House, the Obama agenda stops.
Obviously the GOP has a hard time with its own agenda. But that’s ok. Even an incompetent, not truly conservative GOP can stop the Obama agenda.
That CAN happen, and it WILL happen.
I hope the Republicans regain at least the House, and would be happy if they regained the Senate too, but let's hope they know how to make use of a victory. Sometimes they are too afraid of their own shadows to figure out what to do.
