Very shrewd timing of her remarks if that is the case. As in, he couldn’t resist grandstanding at this scheduled PR event, and she made the critical remarks just prior, to prod him into making some over-the-top remarks in support of it, which he did. Maybe I’m assuming too much, but it’s nice to at least hope that there are competent leaders on our side.
