Tell me again who voted for the Clintoon and Carter?

Oh, wait... it was the boomers.

And after Carter, *ANYONE* would have voted for Reagan. Actually, everyone *DID* vote for Reagan after the boomer-induced mess of Carter.

Just like the Obamanation will be tarred on the current generation in power.

And the ‘oh, I don’t know anyone...’ claim has no bearing here. You probably don’t know any rapists or murderers either, right? So are you going to claim they don’t exist, too?

This boomer wasn't old enough to vote for Carter @sshat! It was the parents who were die hard democrats that voted for old Jimmah. You know, those tagged the Greatest Generation. Those boomers old enough to vote were mostly busy getting their @sses killed in the fund gutted Vietnam War. With that, the 26th Amendment was enacted in 1971. Half the Boomers weren't old enough to vote but those who were may have voted for Carter, I wouldn't know I was busy passing 8th grade. By the time Carter got us into the proverbial mess of the late 70’s that I'm sure you are referring to, the other half of the Boomers elected Reagan in 1980 in a landslide!

Math not your strongest suit I guess.

It’s stupid to blame a generation, which is an artificial construct anyway, for any of this. Individuals vote, not groups. Heck my parents were members of the so called Greatest Generation. They didn’t vote for any of those clowns. My husband and I are so called Boomers and we (or my Boomer siblings) voted for any of them either. This generational warfare is just like class warfare. We need to stop grouping people and then pitting them against each other.

Come on....

What about those little things like the "Great Socialist" social programs introduced by LBJ born 1908, and Social Security from the 1930s?
