British kickboxer sought in death of ex-US Marine (Marine stalked and stabbed after bar fight)

BANGKOK – A manhunt was under way Monday in Thailand for a British kickboxer police say is believed to have killed a former U.S. Marine after provoking a barroom brawl on a tropical island.

Police have named 28-year-old Lee Aldhouse of Britain as the prime suspect in the weekend stabbing death of Dashawn Longfellow, 23, who was vacationing on the island of Phuket and, according to U.S. media, a recipient of the Purple Heart after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Thai authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Aldhouse and think he is still in the Phuket area but have alerted airports and sea ports in case he attempts to flee, said police Lt. Col. Anukul Nuket.

"It is very clear what happened," Anukul said. "Everything is very clear cut."

So, he started a fight with the Marine at a bar. The Marine beat his ass in front of everyone. Humiliated, he lay in wait for the Marine and stabbed him to death in a cowardly, premeditated act of murder.

Luckily, this is a jurisdiction where he could get the death penalty - and fairly quickly.

Winning a bar fight is almost as dangerous as losing one. They loser will usually seek revenge, and bring a weapon. Just proof of what a coward he is.

I hope the Thais find him, and stir-fry him.

They never end cleanly.

The loser lies in wait, or trashes the winner's car, or returns with friends or a deadly weapon, or tailgates the winner, etc.

The only way to win is to have the guy who started the fight leave in an ambulance, and then there's police and lawsuits, etc.

As my father once told me: "Never forget that there are too many people out there who have a lot less to lose than you do."
