You have to read the whole thing to get it. This Roger Simon guy starts off by pretending to castigate him for being so politically inept as to stick his oar in an issue he could have sidestepped.

Then praises him for bravely upholding Sacred American Principles and comparing him to Lincoln standing against slavery and Ike sending the National Guard to Little Rock.

I call B.S. If Obama was a true Profile in Courage he would not have clumsily backtracked on his Iftar dinner speech in Florida a day later. Mr. Simon is pretending that part didn’t happen.

You are correct. I did read the whole article. But I cannot believe the Democratic machine would allow Simon to inject the resignation meme into the political arena at this moment.

I also imagine that a lot of Democrats would like for Obama to resign about now.
