Sheriff’s Challenge to Obama: Give Me Half Hour, I’ll Show You How to Secure Border Wednesday, August 18, 2010 By Terence P. Jeffrey, Editor-in-Chief
(CNSNews.com) - Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County, Ariz., is issuing an invitation to President Barack Obama: If the president will come and spend a half hour with Babeu in Arizona, the sheriff says, he will convince the president he can succeed in securing the border and thus make himself into a hero who transcends partisan politics.
Babeu’s southern Arizona county, while not contiguous with the border, has been designated by the Justice Department as part of a High Intensity Drug Trafficking region that is a major route for drug and alien smugglers bringing narcotics and illegal aliens into the United States from Mexico. Babeu has joined with Sheriff Larry Dever of neighboring Cochise County, Ariz.—which does sit on the border—as well as with Arizona’s two senators, John McCain and Jon Kyl, in endorsing a ten-point plan for securing the border.
Noting that President Obama has visited Afghanistan to assess the security situation there, CNSNews.com asked Babeu in a videotaped interview whether he would like the president visit with him in Arizona so he can have the opportunity to persuade the president that his plan to secure the border will work.

It'll never happen. The bamster's agenda doesn't call for it. He does, however, have ample time to approve litigation against Sheriff Joe for being an outstanding proponent of enforcing America's laws, immigration among them. Non-enforcement is the Obama-way to endanger the safety of American citizens (never mind drug cartels are operating on THIS side of the border). Intentional side-effects include potential democrat voters who will help decimate the American economy - more Obama-speak and agenda!
All Govenor Brewer has to do, according to AZ Law, is enroll volunteers from the unorganized militia, get them trained, equipped, and supervised by the AZ National Guard.....and the border is sealed at a huge savings for the taxpayer: both federal and state.
The WH isn’t the answer.
The border issue is a joke.
It's a government reluctant to do anything and making excuses for why they shouldn't, couldn't, wouldn't. But one thing is for sure, both parties are stumbling over themselves to pander to a very specific voting block that thinks this border should be open.
0bama doesn’t want the border secure. He wants illegals pouring over the border, faking citizenship, registering to vote and receiving government benefits. It is the only hope the Democrats have for staying in power.
And don’t forget the 10 foot thick, 50 feet high concrete wall too.
Sorry Sheriff Babeu, but your chances of getting 30 minutes with Obozo are nil. A much better approach would be to volunteer to be his caddy for 18 holes of golf, he seems to make room for that anytime. He has played a remarkable 41 rounds of golf thru 16 July of this year. He usually spends around four hours on the golf course, all the while the border goes to hell in a hand basket. Change I don’t believe in!!!

You have to wonder why we are allowing the Drug Cartel to use our Sovereign soil to unload their wares.........the talking heads and the politicians talk, talk, talk, talk, and never mention the DRUG WAR going on as I type.......
