we are still sending troops..a friends kid is going next week..after being told she wasnt..they wont tell her what she will be doing or what training she is to have.

So the troops come home, Iraq falls apart, Obama blames Bush and the Journolistas get their kneepads polished.
Meanwhile, Iran is about to go nuclear and we are taking a battle ready army that can cross their border in an afternoon home.

I just hope that the 50,000 left behind have heavy armor, not wheeled armored cars, loads of artillery with more ammo than the tubes can fire, full air support, and, of course, comprehensive communications, because they’ll be the next target.
Too, they’d better have much more reasonable rules of engagement, or they’ll soon be dead.

As they bug out, my son’s unit prepares to go in.
50,000 troops are remaining in Iraq, but they are being called "advisors" or some such.
Some are rotating out, but others are just now being sent.
This is just to make it seem like Nobama is taking a strong stand to end our troop presence when nothing of the kind is taking place. And many on the left recongize it for the ploy it is.
They already have!
Northern part eaten by Turkey and the Kurds, eastern part chewed up by Iran and the Shiites, and the western part a big old tub of blood and guts filled with a little bit of Sunni and a whole lot of Shiites with outside "helpers" just a blowing things up.
Now we're on to Afghanistan and letting the real professionals like Clinton and Obama fix things.

Stand up the Iraqi army. Draw down troops as they are no longer needed. Leave behind a force capable of responding to contingencies.
