when the RATS took over in 2007, Reid had 2 RATS open/close senate during recess, so the the senate was never in “Recess”.
Hope The Repubs remember this little maneuver.
Are you kidding? The Republican LEADERSHIP will trip all over each other trying to see which one can hit the floor and kiss ht Presidents backside FIRST — IF they ever retake the Congress, House or Senate. The Leadership may take some heavy flack from the Conservative rank-and-file, but that won’t change much until the partyt leadership changes. They like theur cocktail parties, their three martini lunches, and their Sunday Morning new show time too much.
