I’m not talking about changing it, I’m talking about the elimination of the policy altogether. The context of the 14th Amendment was to protect newborn children of former slaves, not to grant citizenship to ANY child of a foreign national born here in the US.

It changed from custody of parents follows the us citizen child

into

the custody of the us citizen child goes with the deported parents.

Immigration lawyers have been making FORTUNES taking money from stupid illegals who get deported on an non-existant hardship claim for the child. (no medical care, my child has add, we are insert religious group)
