CHILMARK - President Obama made the most of his first day of vacation, playing 18 holes at the chi-chi Vineyard Golf Club after taking daughters Sasha and Malia book shopping in Vineyard Haven.
The prez, who has played more than 40 rounds of golf while in office, continued his links roll at the private, 18-hole course in Edgartown where he teed off with his favorite golfing companion, White House aide Marvin Nicholson, Chicago BFF Eric Whitaker and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn.

Perhaps you don’t know how to use google. It has been around for years. Why would you think I would make this up? I could care less about vacations. I went on vacation twice this year with my family to a tune of 40 days. One vacation was on a baltic cruise for six (my wife and I and our four children) for 12 days and then we went to London for one week and Prague for one week. The other was to Pennsylvania for a Family Reunion and my mother’s 65th Birthday. I don’t have a problem with people taking vacations. The women asked me to find out that question and I was being helpful. Obviously you are selfish and don’t believe in helping people. That is your choice....good thing we are American or you would be in deep trouble.

Remember, often times the White House, during those Presidential terms, made it clear that they were on "working vacations."
And, if it cost more, it was probably because of all that was needed to make it a "working vacation," such as communication systems, staffers, etc. I remember GW hosting heads of state and other political leaders at his ranch while he was on "vacation." That probably cost tax money. But...he was not off eating ice cream and playing golf and otherwise away from his duties totally, as with the Obamas. Those facts the liberal media, including Google, fail to include.

Does it strike anyone else that the Obamas to some extent vacation separately even when they’re staying together? Rather than engaging in family activities, he leave the wife and kids behind for many hours just about every day to go off and play golf (or go off and play basketball or work out...). It’s kind of sad that his family, with young kids, seems to be such a low priority on his time schedule. They’re only going to be so young once.
Google is in the tank for obama, so,I don’t know how accurate their reports are. At least, GWB, worked while on vacation at his ranch. When has zero actually done any work, other than run his mouth?
