How did you spend your $8,700 in stimulus money? Paying the taxes raised to cover this mindless and useless government spending spree.

We were so excited when we found out we’d been the recipients of such beneficence.
We used it to pay our health insurance premiums since hubby’s employer, in order to avoid layoffs, asked that everyone contribute half of what the company had been paying for its employees.
So, using the government’s formula.....oh wait, no, doesnt that mean it COST me $8,700?

And Obamacare hasn’t even kicked in yet. Isn’t FREE healthcare great? Oh wait—not free us people who, y’know, work for a living.

” What about your town’s Main Street, how’s that looking? “
Actually, we did get our town’s Main Street (really!) repaved - by an out-of-state contractor, with a suspiciously hispanic-looking workforce....
The “Stimulus Dollars At Work” signs were all over, though....

We are paying much more for everything we use..Electricity just went up around 13%..Notice that groceries are much higher..Went to the new SAM’s in my neighborhood yesterday..Notice higher prices on everything. They are lying to us about inflation..It is here NOW and it will eat up the income of the elderly very quickly..We are living under scam after scam after scam and where it will end, nobody knows. I have read different criticisms of Glen Beck on this site, but, let me tell you, folks, from what I know about the world, he is giving you history and insight into our current dilemma which you will not get anywhere else. We need a crash course in wisdom and knowledge and I believe he is trying to achieve that as fast as he can. Our current situation did not happen overnight and it will not get healed overnight. Too much individual freedom has been lost. The question is..Will we give the rest of it away simply through throwing up our hands and submitting to those who want to be Lords over our Serfdom? I THINK NOT!

"Wha-wha-what?" you ask, "I didn't get any $8700 worth of stimulus..."
I got it.
And I spent it on Hookers and Cocaine.

Thank you. This needs repeating. Glen is not telling us what to think, just asking that we question, read and make wise decisions based on truth.

That's right. You can chart the growth of government and the increase in prices in this country in the 1900's and see a direct relationship (not coincidental, but causal) between the growth of government and inflation.
Let's shout it from the rooftops. Basic economics and historical fact proves:
Government never has and never will create wealth.
Government always has and always will create poverty.
Only free-market capitalism creates wealth.
