From Rand’s site:

“I believe that when we must fight, we declare war as the Constitution mandates and we fight to win.”

Sounds like he would have voted against the war in Afghanistan after 9-11 and the war in Iraq. It’s one thing to generally believe we should get a declaration of war, quite another to be a hard head and refuse to fight when necessary because he can’t get his way.

I suspect Rand is a nutter like his Dad. We should never have nominated a Paul for a Senate seat. What’s done is done though, and yes, I’d certainly vote for Rand over the Democrat.

There IS no war in Iraq or Afghanistan. Those are military police actions. And we are not fighting those to win either. Bush called the Muslims he walked behind and kissed the rings of, the Religion of Peace.
