The bodies of the four young men were discovered early on Sunday, hung upside down by their feet from a bridge near a wealthy area of Cuernavaca, a leafy city about an hour outside Mexico City, where many of the nation's elite own homes.
The victims' genitals, index fingers and heads had been cut off, according to a statement from the attorney general's office in Morelos state, which includes Cuernavaca.
Their heads and genitals were found nearby, along with a handmade sign, the statement said.
"This will happen to everyone that helps the traitor Edgar Valdes," the placard read, referring to a leading drug capo whose real name is Edgar Valdez.
It was signed C.P.S., the initials for the South Pacific Cartel, a relatively new drug gang that has claimed responsibility for other gruesome killings.

At least the Mexican drug cartels are at war with each other as well as the Mexican and U.S. Governments.

Maybe Obozo and his criminal associates have strong financial and criminal ties to these cartels in supplying their citys’ drug requirements?

I hear that there is a good mix of Middle Easterners crossing our border along with the Mexican ‘immigrants.’ No doubt, they are there. Part of their stragegy, no doubt.
We need to look at this as a civil war for control of Mexico. There may be a central government in Mexico, but its control is becoming little more than it was in the early part of the 20th century. Large scale gun battles, political assassinations and frequent killing of law enforcement sure sounds like a civil war.
The worrisome thing is, if we accept that this is a civil war, then the illegals would be considered refugees fleeing from violence, rather than people coming here for economic reasons.
No, we would still have authority to control whom we allow in to our country. But I agree that this could be a meme advanced by the Left in their slavish allegiance to open borders.
I read, but now cannot find, an article where it explained that the cartels are in fact essentially annexing parts of Mexico and displacing the local, much less the central, government.
I don't see us getting involved in any of this. What we need to do is keep their war from spilling over into our country. Of course, that is provocative to the cartels because they need to be able to gain entry to the U.S. to sell their drug wares.
The sooner we start viewing this as a military situation the better. I can tell you a few years ago, if you'd told me I'd be posting that sentence on FR, I would have scoffed you out of the room. But here we are.
Absoutely we must seal the border and deport illegals.

It seems the Administration has no clue as to the true status of what’s happening on the border.
Maybe the governors should start looking into calling up the Guard in their *state* capacity, training them for true military border security operations and deploying them. This has got to be a better use of state funds than “Heather Has Two Mommies.”

It is the duty of the American people to initiate and execute the task of sealing our border. Are there not 10,000 men out of our 275+ Million citizens willing to show up with rifles in hand to defend America? 1000?
Our Marxist government has little respect for our sovereignty, our freedoms or our Constitution. Their inaction is feeding this hell-hole of corruption we call Mexico.
