A recent video shot in an Alaskan airport by a member of the smear website Palingates shows an unknown cameraman approaching Sarah Palin in the airport outside of security and filming her quite close. Palingates is a site entirely devoted to the obsession of trying to politically and personally attack Sarah Palin and all members of her family. The purveyors of the site are so obsessive that it borders on stalking. However what is the most disturbing in the piece is just how close the videographer got to Sarah Palin without any intervention from others.
Palin is no stranger to media stalking. Just recently Joe McGinniss, an author working on a hit piece on Palin, rented the house next door to the Palins to "study his subject more closely." The left's obsession with Palin borders on something clinically scary and many have called for her death in YouTube comments, blog posts and so on. Even some prominent leftists have openly wished for Sarah Palin's death in public such as Kieth Halloran (D) of New Hampshire. The obsession even goes so far as having several people wish for Alaska's Secession, in Newsweek's ridiculous "thought experiment", from the union so long as Sarah Palin goes with them.

I don’t understand why Todd has not asserted himself when it comes to so many of the slurs against him and his daughters.
Why he does not stand up for Sarah. Certainly she would be standing up for him if the situation was reversed.

Maybe Sarah doesn’t want to be seen as a damsel in distress who needs a man to defend her honor. Maybe she could just deck some of these people.

Look at the site and you will see that Todd absolutely manned up....as well did Sarah...as much as they are able to do without being seen like that Congress jerk that attacked those kids taking pictures of him.

Did you watch the video? He had his camera phone out and started walking towards the guy and asking what he was doing (the second time, inside the terminal at the gate).

Obama was place under SS protection May 3, 2007 after the Congressional panel authorized it. Kerry and Edwards got protection in Feb. 04. So it’s not a cut and dried timeline.

...I agree. If she does make a run for president the press would have a field day with “damsel in distress” footage and paint her as weak. I’m sure that Todd has to count to 10 and take a chill pill often.
Libs are getting desperate to put an end to the Palin possibilities and will stop at nothing. She needs protection 24/7.

I thought Todd did quite well and appropriately in that video. The photographer was clearly scared because he was shaking so much he could not hold the camera still. Todd also commented on that asking, “why are you shaking so much?” There was a lot going on non-verbally.
Todd exuded manliness and protection. He did very well indeed. If he “manned up” any more, he would melt the glaciers.

She is a strong Christian and isn't afraid to show her faith. A faith that she lives and does not have to be polled to make sure she is believed.
