The problem is, the radicals have learned to label themselves moderates & the media buys into the label. Then when it becomes more apparent that the person isn’t so moderate, it maligns the true moderates and makes people believe that aren’t really any true moderates.
Obviously there are: Dr. Jasser being a prime example.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of Washington & the media, don’t know how to distinguish between the 2, so we end up with sharia promoting muslims who have the media & Washington promoting them as moderates.

It really isn’t that difficult to make the distinction - you just have to be willing to do the background research and have a good ear.

Pretty simple if you are a practicing Muslim you then cannot be a American! Listening to one Friday noon sermon would make that very clear. These people DO NOT assimilate as control is the end game with their insane crazy laws.

Dr. Jasser might mean well, but he is no Muslim. What he is selling is not Islam, and according to Islamic Law to deny a Koran verse is to apostate from Islam. What has he actually accomplished? Nothing, there is no movement behind him. The sooner Americans get out of this “moderate” Muslims are coming to the rescue fantasy, the better.

For the record he was even thrown out of the Mosque he attended.

I admire your faith that there actually are moderate muslims, muslims who put American law above sharia.

I remember clearly the glowing words media used on al Awlaki and until he left the USA there was no clue how mainstream muslim he was.
I also remember the poll done here in USA showing muslims thought some form of jihad against the USA was justified and right.
I don’t see how sharia can be melded with USA laws
