As little regard as I have for the teachings of Islam, this is moronic behavior. Imagine how we would view a mosque in Dearborn having a Burn a Bible Day.

Burning is attractive, but I may opt for the lasting satisfaction of using a couple pages at a time as TP. Save money, too, if I can get one cheap. There’s a stupid islamic center down the road; maybe I’ll ask them for a free copy!

Download from here, print a few pages, and burn all you want. Or have some spare TP.

A Christian church should not be doing this just to aggravate the Muslims.

On the 4th of July, many of us visited the outhouse on the farm where the koran was available for toilet paper. It was a little slick but the feeling was great.

“Abu Dujanah Al-Khorasani Brigade Claims Responsibility for Sending Tear Gas Letter to Paris Embassy” Submitted by Cerise Negulici on Thu, 08/05/2010 - 11:58

SNIPPET: “According to a message post, the formerly unidentified Abu Dujanah al-Khorasani Brigade has accepted that it was responsible for sending out a tear gas letter to the embassy, last week. It was reported that the two workers of the embassy, who held the letter, underwent a check-up and were then discharged by the city hospital.

The French officials are examining the July 30 episode, Paul Patin said on Wednesday. It was deemed that the letter had traces of tear gas. But a senior U. S. executive, who wants to remain anonymous, said that according to the latest reports that have arrived at Washington, the alleged letter did not have tear gas or any other toxin.”

Now, if they announced it just to get Muslims there to witness to them and actually had no intention of burning a Koran, well, it’s kind of provocative, but I’m of mixed emotions about the method.

Heck they burn our flag all the time.

Why not burn a Koran?

ow burning a Koran wouldn't bother me at all.

Isn't that a form of free speech as is flag burning?

Oh, I forgot. Liberals have different standards. Burning the Koran would be “hate speech” but burning the flag isn't. Isn't that how it goes?

HOWEVER, Christians are not to do things just to provoke another to react in anger. If the pastor’s intention is to make a political statement, then he should do it as a private citizen, not as a representative of Jesus Christ.

But after the City of Gainesville fire department last week turned down its application for a permit under outdoor fire ordinances, Dove emailed a statement saying that despite the rejection of the application as well as pressure from its commercial insurance provider and the bank holding its mortgage, “we will still burn Korans.”

Would the fire department and other clowns have reacted the same way if it was a FLAG BURNING event?

I doubt it. They're USED to that.

When it comes to burning a Koran, we must be SENSITIVE and not ANTAGONIZE them. But it's okay to ANTAGONIZE Vets and our military as they burn AMERICAN FLAGS or disrespect our flag, routinely in other ways.

Yes, you can die, be maimed or come back whole from serving in our military but it's okay to disrespect out flag. OTOH every single one of those involved with 9/11 was a Muslim and we are supposed to show the ultimate respect and sensitivity as they stab us in the heart and try to build a mosque where they slaughtered over 3,000 people.
