Obama Secretly GIVING Amnesty to Illegal Aliens
California Political News & Views ^ | August 25th, 2010 | CA Political News

The so-called "backdoor amnesty" for illegal aliens is no longer merely another bad idea from the Obama administration. According to the Houston Chronicle, the Department of Homeland Security is trying to dismiss thousands of deportation cases against "suspected illegal immigrants."

The Chronicle reports the Obama amnesty effort began "about a month ago" in Houston, where the Department of Homeland Security now has five attorneys working full-time on this backdoor amnesty for illegal aliens. The amnesty program is expected to be rolled out nationwide soon.

Senator John Cornyn blasted the Obama amnesty:

"This situation is just another side effect of President Obama's failure to deliver on his campaign promise to make immigration reform a priority in his first year. Until he does, state and local authorities are left with no choice but to pick up the slack for prosecuting and detaining criminal aliens."

(Snip)

An illegal alien is someone who came into this country without permission or a foreign national who stayed in this country without permission.

To Barack Obama an illegal alien does not exist.

From the Houston Chronicle, "Gonzalez said DHS attorneys are conducting the reviews on a case-by-case basis. However, he said they are following general guidelines that allow for the dismissal of cases for defendants who have been in the country for two or more years and have no felony convictions.

In some instances, defendants can have one misdemeanor conviction, but it cannot involve a DWI, family violence or sexual crime, Gonzalez said."

So, sneak into this country, do not get caught for two years, and you are home free, Barack will kiss you on both cheeks and crown you with permission to stay in the United States.

This backdoor amnesty is possibly the most corrupt act by any elected official, a total violation of the oath of office.

This is being done secretly in Houston, no idea where else this is being done.

“The left has made a science out of “ill defining” our entire language. So much so, that clear English has been made to mean the exact opposite of what it says.”

You can say that three times a day. We were warned about it too. I have been reading about this tactic for fifty years and seeing it in action. Someone recently told me that Jim Demint was “such a radical”. I jumped on that with both feet and told him it was BS, Jim Demint stands up for traditional American values and that is what he was calling radical, the guy making the accusation was the real radical and I let him know it.

You just can't suppress the will of hundreds of millions of people forever.

Very true and when it comes to illegal aliens they've been doing it for quite a while. Even democrats in the 1930s and 40s when the economy was down deported illegals to make jobs for citizens. We have a political class today that thumbs its nose at us. I like you think that this can only on for so much longer.

Yes they're still illegal aliens. The government is dismissing criminal and other cases against them then releasing them back into the communities as non-citizens. Totally irresponsible behavior, especially when some of them go on to commit other crimes against us.

We obviously now have a political class who have sold their souls to the globalists and progressives. Like the viral email says, "if things are bad, it's because they want them that way."

Congress and the White House have the power to put a stop to illegal immigration at any time. That they refuse to do so, is grounds for wholesale impeachment, in my opinion.

Somehow - some way, the dam is going to break on this. The forces at work are larger and much more powerful than a few hundred elitist traitors in Washington.

You know, when we were kids, and someone pushed you as close to the brink as the Democrats have pushed the American people, you rolled up your sleeves and bloodied their nose.

Wars have been fought for less than what these traitors have done to our country.

Anything can be accomplished with the correct direction and application of political will. There's no doubt where the American people stand on this issue.

The fact is, we've been overwhelmed with millions of new immigrants (both legal and illegal) who have put an unsupportable strain on our economy, the job market, housing, hospitals, state budgets, schools, law enforcement, and our culture.

The people are letting the politicians know that they want the tap turned off, and for (at least) the illegal immigrants to be deported.

I think most Americans would even agree that we need at least a 20 year moratorium on any further immigration, to allow the most recent arrivals time to assimilate into our culture.

We've simply absorbed too many newcomers, at too fast a clip, and it's become destructive to the nation. The flow has got to be stopped long enough for us to recover.

there doesn’t seem to be an elected official except for
a handful of governors who have any will about illegal
immigration. it is a strange situation where millions of people
are are furious and yet willfully ignored by media and
politicians.

Don't worry. The voters will soon begin ignoring the politicians who have ignored their will, at the ballot box.

Politicians have the unfortunate Achille's Heel of not being able to deny their records. None who have sat on their hands with this issue, or who have outright supported the wrong side on it, will survive much longer.

There's a great turning occurring in America today. The ruling political class is on the wrong side of nearly everything the people care deeply about.

This is precisely why the Democrats are about to take an historic beating in the November elections. Politicians who continue to ignore this historic change in the electorate will soon be swept aside by the rushing tide of real change.

It already has on the border states. The next president is going to have to take the problem seriously or the country is gone for sure.

"The next president is going to have to take the problem seriously or the country is gone he/she'll be impeached for sure."

Sorry. I had to fix that.
