Posted on 08/25/2010 8:34:05 PM PDT by Nachum
On Sunday I was honored to be a speaker at the rally against building the mosque at ground zero put on by the Coalition to Honor Ground Zero. As the rally concluded, thousands of the participants marched the one block from the rally site to the actual site of Ground Zero.
I noticed a man in black shirt with a phone camera aggressively questioning and haranguing a gentleman with the sign, No Sharia Here. He was very aggressive, disrespectful and condescending; apparently, he did not like the mans answers about Shariah and pushed the point: Why do you feel threatened? What are you afraid of? Why cant you answer my questions?
My instincts told me to document the scene, and I took out my camera. I originally thought he was a supporter of the mosque (theyd gathered in much smaller numbers a few blocks away), or some kind of fringe reporter for a small, even fringier leftist paper. When I challenged the man in the black shirt, asking him to tell me what media outlet he worked for, he refused to answer. He walked away.

Hope someone in the press picks this up. But not likely.
ABC out to make the news instead of report it. They must be getting desperate for ratings.
BTT. Good catch.
I’d find out who he is, and arrange a “blanket party” for him.
Oh my god - this is the guy who came up to me and took issue with my sign, which said “NO MOSQUE AT GROUND ZERO - IT’S NOT ABOUT FREEDOM OF RELIGION - IT’S ABOUT RESPECT FO THE (3,000) DEAD”. He said, “Are you sure it was 3,000 and not 2,997? Isn’t it disrespectful not to know exactly how many people died?” He was totally condescending and mocking. I told him “Who care’s what you think?” and walked away. Wow - I’m totally amazed. I assumed he was from some fringe news outlet - turns out it was ABC - well, come to think of it, I wasn’t far wrong!
Another Democrat, another traitor. What else is new....
Since they’ve all fallen in lockstep with a clearly minority opinion it’s pretty obvious this guy and his ilk are incapable of thinking for themselves.
“Why do you feel threatened”?
Just for starters, try this on:

Are you blind, ABC Newsman?
They protect their own.
They use to get away with this stuff. Now we catch them red handed AND get the word out. Sucks to be a lying commie sympathizer nowadays.
You should email BigJournalism and tell this author your story.
I think I will!
A definite breach of professional ethnics by ABC.
Oh, what am I saying? The mainstream media has no professional ethics, or any other kind of ethics for that matter.
I hide my old press card in order to save it for Show & Tell where I can tell young children that it was once an honorable profession.
I would be afraid of the establishment of Cannon or Rabbinical law as well.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the man is “swarthy,” either.
Get back to me when Christian and or Jewish terrorists kill 3000 Americans and then want to build a Church or Synagogue on their graves.
Good one FrankR
MSM employees in the 1960s/70s used to take signs and blue, red, and yellow "protest banners" (Viet Cong flags) to "anti-war" rallies just in case the protesters forgot.
I do not how common this was but I certainly heard reports of it happening.
If a tip is phoned in, it has to be assigned to a desk (local, national, sports, etc.), a reporter has to be found and available, a technical crew assembled, a vehicle assigned, gear loaded, travel time, setup, locating persons or action to shoot or interview, writing/scripting, etc., and then you're ready to shoot and interview.....it could take hours, and more likely...days. Nope. It's all organized. Believe me. I was in the industry for many years and news is mostly smoke and mirrors.
A building is not what I was referring to. The US already has a legal system.
